Himalayan Pashmina

There is no recorded history as to who started using Pashmina, but Nepalese women have traditionally worn Pashmina shawls. Our ancestor has described Pashmina as sensual sublimity. It is they who perfected the skill to retrieve Pashmina up to 95% purity and the skill got passed from generation to generation as a heritage of Nepalese craft.

Welcome to Nepal, the world of Pashmina, Nepal is better known as the country where the highest peak on the Earth lies. And Pashmina is a luxury, fine cashmere gathered from the undercoat of the Himalayan mountain goat that roams freely in the Himalayas.

For centuries, the royalties and the wealthiest women in Nepal and other neighboring countries have relied on the fine Pashmina products to adorn their shoulders. These Pashmina have been handed down from generation to generation as a treasure to be handled with care and flaunted at ease. Stylish women all over the world have used Pashmina as the icing on the cake of their designer wears.

Pure Pashmina is the finest cashmere, the softest and warmest fiber in the world. We make pure Pashmina as well as the standard Pashmina adorning most shoulders. Standard Pashmina is a blend of pure Pashmina and silk. This combination gives a beautiful sheen as well as strength to the material.

Pashmina Care

  • Contrary to popular belief, Pashmina is easy to clean.
  • Wash it in lukewarm water with a good, natural shampoo.
  • Do not bleach it.
  • Do not twist or wring to rinse the water. Squeeze gently and dry flat in open air but away from direct heat and sunlight.
  • And then iron at a low temperature. Please do not iron it directly, put a damp cloth on top of Pashmina and iron over the cloth.
  • For the alternative, we suggest professional dry cleaning.
